1. Agreement and changes
We may amend these Terms when features, law, or business needs change. The “Last updated” date shows the current version. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and may close your account.
If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. The Service
JoinGameServers is an independent online directory of community game servers and related informational tools (search, filters, votes, favorites, listing pages, and optional paid placements). We help players discover servers and help operators promote listings.
We do not host, operate, moderate in-game, or provide the game servers listed on the Service. Connection details, rules, bans, gameplay, economy, and player safety on those servers are solely the responsibility of their operators and of the applicable game publishers.
Query data (online status, player counts, MOTD, and similar fields) is retrieved from public server interfaces when available and may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. Rankings and “boost” effects can change as votes, queries, and competing promotions change.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service (including games, filters, or paid products) with or without notice, subject to mandatory consumer rights where they apply.
4. Eligibility and accounts
You must be able to form a binding contract under applicable law. If you are under the age of digital consent in your country, you may use the Service only with involvement of a parent or guardian as required by law.
You must provide accurate account information, keep credentials confidential, and promptly update details that become outdated. You are responsible for activity under your account, including listings, votes, and purchases, unless you notify us of unauthorized access and we reasonably confirm a compromise.
OAuth login (Steam, Discord, Google) is optional and subject to those providers’ terms. We may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts that are abusive, fraudulent, impersonating, or otherwise violate these Terms.
5. Listings and user content
You retain ownership of content you submit (text, images, logos, banners, videos, Discord invites, and similar “User Content”). By submitting User Content you grant JGSStudios a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, and create technical adaptations (for example resizing banners) of that content solely to operate, promote, and secure the Service.
You represent and warrant that you have all rights needed to publish the listing and User Content; that the content is accurate and not misleading; and that it does not infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights, and does not violate law.
We may refuse, edit, delist, shadow-limit, or remove listings or User Content that are illegal, infringing, deceptive, spammy, off-topic, harmful, or otherwise incompatible with a trustworthy directory. Approval of a listing is not an endorsement of the server or its operators.
Claiming a listing does not transfer ownership of a game server. It only associates dashboard control of the directory entry with an account, subject to our verification and dispute handling.
6. Votes, rankings, and integrity
Votes and related signals exist to help surface community interest. You must not manipulate votes or rankings by any artificial means, including but not limited to bots, scripts, VPNs/proxies used to evade cooldowns, vote exchange rings, paid vote farms, duplicate accounts created for voting abuse, or interference with other users’ votes.
We may invalidate votes, reset scores, adjust rankings, suspend rewards/postbacks, or suspend accounts when we detect or reasonably suspect abuse. Rankings are dynamic and are not a guaranteed advertising outcome.
7. Paid promotions and payments
Optional paid features may include homepage or list pins, YouTube highlight slots, rank-boost points, and similar placements described at purchase time. Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing:
- Purchases buy promotional placement or boost points for a stated duration or quantity — not a permanently locked rank, exclusive category ownership, or guaranteed player joins.
- Availability of slots, positions, and impressions can vary with demand, inventory, game popularity, filters users apply, and technical factors.
- Prepaid periods end when the paid term expires and do not auto-renew unless you start a recurring PayPal subscription or another renewal mechanism we offer.
- Recurring PayPal subscriptions renew until you cancel them through the dashboard (or PayPal) according to the product’s billing cycle. You are responsible for canceling before the next renewal if you no longer want the product.
Prices are shown at checkout and may change for future purchases. Taxes may apply based on your location and PayPal’s handling. Payment processing is performed by PayPal; their terms apply to the payment transaction.
Refunds: digital promotional placements that have begun delivery are generally non-refundable, except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise, or where we cancel a product for reasons not caused by your breach and cannot provide a reasonably equivalent substitute. Chargebacks filed without contacting us first may result in account suspension pending investigation.
We may suspend paid placements connected to listings that violate these Terms without obligation to refund where the suspension results from your breach.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Break any applicable law or third-party right through the Service.
- Upload malware, scam content, phishing, or material that exploits minors.
- Harass, threaten, or dox others, or publish others’ personal data without a lawful basis.
- Scrape, crawl, or bulk-export the Service in a way that overloads infrastructure, bypasses technical limits, or rebuilds a competing directory from our non-public interfaces without our prior written consent.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data; probe vulnerabilities except through a coordinated disclosure channel we expressly authorize.
- Interfere with voting, rankings, Turnstile/bot checks, or payment flows.
- Misrepresent affiliation with JoinGameServers, JGSStudios, game publishers, or other operators.
We may investigate violations and take any action we deem appropriate, including removal of content, suspension, termination, and reports to authorities or payment providers.
9. Intellectual property
The Service’s software, design, logos (other than user-submitted marks), compilation of listings as a database, and our trademarks are owned by JGSStudios or its licensors. You receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to access the Service for its intended purpose.
Game names, logos, artwork, and related marks remain the property of their respective owners and appear only for identification of community servers and related content. See also the trademarks section below.
If you believe content on the Service infringes your rights, email [email protected] with sufficient detail to locate the material and substantiate your claim. We may remove or disable access to disputed content and, where appropriate, terminate repeat infringers.
10. Trademarks and affiliation
JoinGameServers is an independent directory. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise associated with any game, publisher, developer, platform, or trademark referenced on the Service, unless we expressly say so in writing.
All game names, logos, artwork, and related marks are the property of their respective owners and are used solely for identification.
11. Third-party services and links
The Service integrates or links to third parties including game servers, Steam, Discord, Google, PayPal, Cloudflare, YouTube, and others. Your use of those services is governed by their terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party outages, policy changes, or acts or omissions.
12. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that listings, query data, ranks, or vote counts are accurate, complete, or uninterrupted; that any listed server is safe, fair, or online; or that paid promotion will achieve any particular traffic, rank, or revenue result.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including mandatory consumer protections).
13. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JGSStudios AND ITS OPERATORS, OFFICERS, AND CONTRACTORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY; OR COST OF SUBSTITUTE SERVICES — ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER THEORY, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IN ANY TWELVE-MONTH PERIOD SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US FOR THE SERVICE DURING THAT PERIOD, OR (B) FIFTY EURO (€50).
The limitations above do not apply to liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be limited under the laws of Romania.
14. Indemnity
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless JGSStudios and its operators from and against claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your User Content, your game server or community, your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
15. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and may request account deletion by contacting [email protected], subject to retention needed for legal, security, and accounting purposes.
We may suspend or terminate access immediately if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if continued operation creates risk to the Service or others. Provisions that by nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, and governing law) will survive termination.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, excluding conflict-of-law rules that would choose another jurisdiction’s law.
Subject to mandatory consumer rights that cannot be waived (including any right to bring proceedings in your country of residence where applicable), the courts of the competent courts of Bucharest, Romania shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.

17. Miscellaneous
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a reorganization or transfer of the Service. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any product-specific checkout terms, are the entire agreement regarding the Service and supersede prior understandings on that subject.
